Tonight we are listing another item from my Grandfathers estate, and what we have here is a RARE SELDOM SEEN 1930's - 1940's COCA COLA TABLE ADVERTISING FAN.....
My Grandfather owned and ran a small General Store back in Milan Indiana during the 1940's and 1950's, and since this piece came from his estate, I assume he used it in the store.......
When I received the fan it was very rusted, and I knocked off a little of the rust with a very fine steel wool, but I'm sure the new owner could clean it up much more if so desired......
The fan originally had a low and high speed, but for some reason it only works on high speed and originally the fan did oscillate back and forth, but sadly this feature does not work either........ But maybe I'm doing something wrong, or this can be fixed easily.......if that doesn't bother and and you just want an old advertising cooling fan, it works great.....
The fan features a Coca Cola Bottle Cap in the center and this piece would make a great addition to any Coca Cola Collection or would look great in any Victorian setting.....
